Music Makers
A Creative Piano Adventure for Kids ages 4-8 in Haliburton!
Fall 2026 Pre-Registration
I'm excited to offer a brand-new music program for children ages 5-8 in Haliburton!
This 8-week course is designed to help children build a strong musical foundation while having fun through movement, games, creativity, and piano exploration.
Rather than focusing only on learning songs, students will discover how music works by exploring:
Piano basics
Rhythm and beat
Singing and musical expression
Traditional music notation
Music theory through games and hands-on activities
Creative composition and improvisation
Learning happens through engaging activities using toys and interactive tools like LEGO®, a giant floor piano, rhythm games, and collaborative music-making.
The Grand Finale
The course will conclude with a special performance for family and friends featuring an original song created by the students together. Children may choose to sing, play piano, or perform percussion depending on their interests and comfort level.

Meet The Teacher
Hi! I'm Lizzy.
I moved to Haliburton three years ago and have been a professional musician for over 20 years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Music and Vocal Performance and have spent the past 15 years teaching music and vocal coaching.
I believe music should be fun, creative, and accessible. My goal is to help children build a strong musical foundation while developing confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of making music.
