Join the Shout Choir!
I'm putting together a casual pop-up choir for one very special performance, and I'd love for you to be part of it!
On Thursday, July 30, I'll be performing a one-hour concert of original music at the Haliburton School of Art + Design, and one of the tunes is absolutely begging for a choir of joyful local voices.

What’s the Song?
The song I’d like some help with is called “Wild.” I'd love to sing the chorus of ‘Wild’ in three-part harmony!
Below you'll find four practice recordings:
All Parts Together – all three harmony parts sung together so you can hear how they fit.
Melody – the main melody that I'll be singing during the performance.
High Harmony – the upper harmony part.
Low Harmony – the lower harmony part.
You're welcome to sing whichever part feels the most comfortable for your voice. You can simply sing the melody with me, or challenge yourself with one of the harmony parts.
If any of the practice tracks feel too high, don't hesitate to sing your part an octave lower. The goal is for everyone to sing comfortably and confidently!
Have fun with it, and don't worry about being perfect—we'll put it all together at the rehearsal.
Lyrics
I've got a ghost that I lean on
The echo of a season
I didn't raise hell just to let it cave
and I didn't run wild to be well behaved, so
Don't mistake my calm for tame cause
A wild woman never fades
Chords for Guitarists/Uke Players
I will be uploading a chord chart shortly. If anyone wants to bring a guitar or ukulele and strum along, they are more than welcome!
Who Can Participate?
Everyone is welcome! This isn't a formal choir or a long-term commitment—just a group of people who love to sing coming together for one memorable evening. Beginners and experienced singers are welcome!
What if I Can’t Make Rehearsal?
If you can’t make rehearsal but you're confident and comfortable learning the song using the provided practice tracks, you’re more than welcome to attend the performance.
What to Expect
I'll provide:
Lyric sheets and chord sheets. Feel free to bring a ukulele or guitar to strum along!
Practice recordings for each part
This page will be updated regularly as I finish the practice tracks and organize everything, so check back for the latest resources and announcements.
