Yes, Parasite did win for best picture! It was a hilarious/terrifying take on modern classism in South Korea. That win was well deserved if you haven’t seen the film, I highly recommend it.

But something else happened in 2020, that turned my life, and all of our lives upside down. The Global, goddam, Covid-freakin-19 mother-f-ing pandemic.
